What I Do

I am a writer based in Edinburgh with an MA in Playwriting and Screenwriting from City University London. I write long and short scripts for both stage and screen.

I have freelancing experience in education as a workshop assistant, in puppeteering/puppet making, and in support work.

I have been project managing film and theatre productions since 2013. If I can help, I do. I enjoy working on film and theatre projects, so feel free to drop me a line at the e-mail listed at the bottom of the page.

Who I Am

I was born in Cyprus to a Danish mother and Iraqi father and raised in the suburbs outside of Houston, Texas. I developed a love of literature as a child, and my interest in writing began with short stories. My father used to take me to the cinema and theatre throughout my childhood, making my transition into scriptwriting during my high school and university years fairly understandable. I currently live in Edinburgh with my spouse and my cat.
